The Holidays Are Approaching

The Holidays are approaching and the weather in Seattle has been crazy. The high this week was like 35 or something. We have had several snow storms and the roads are actually kind of sketchy. We even saw a large bus that had crashed through a barrier and was hanging on a ledge at least 50 feet above I-5. We are enjoying the weather so far and appreciating seeing Seattle covered in snow.

The most exciting event this fall has been Greg's brother Jeff getting married! We traveled to the Los Angeles area for the wedding and spent time with over 300 family and friends. We realized that we are extremely blessed with all the good people in our lives. We need to make an effort to spend more time with the people we love so much! Here are a few photos from the trip. Not only was this week Siena's first Oregon Duck game, they played and beat the Washington Huskies. It doesn't get much better than that! This is the only time she is allowed to watch TV.

This was a monumental week for Siena. She ate her first solid food, well she had some of it in her mouth anyway. We were lucky to to be in Eugene with KC and the kids for this special event.

Mom went back to work this week. That means Dad and Siena have been roaming the city together. They spent time at Madison Beach with Uncle Jeff, drove to Bellevue, went to Dad's eye appointment in Fremont, and went to Pike Place Market a few times. Siena gets a little tired of all the tourists gawking at everything and making it more challenging to find parking to meet Mom for lunch. When Mom's work week was over we all took a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and visited with some friends.

Yep...Mom is home from her first day back at work....somebody missed her!

Summer is here and time has been flying. Siena was able to watch her first fireworks show this week. After the initial shock of the loud booms, she became mesmerized by the bright flashing lights. Although she tried to stay awake for the grand finale, she fell asleep in mom's arms after about 10 minutes.

We recently returned home from a 9 day road trip around the Northwest. Our first destination was Idaho / Eastern Washington to visit family and attend some of our friends' wedding, the bride happened to be Siena's godmother. From there we made the 450 mile drive to our old stomping ground Eugene, Oregon. We attended the Olympic track and field trials in the sweltering heat and stayed with our favorite family in the world!! Siena was quite the little trooper and traveled well for the most part. Here are a few pictures from our adventures.

We just returned from a nine day trip to Idaho. Siena was able to meet her cousin Clayton who is only 7 days younger than her, watch her great uncle fly a helicopter and meet many family and friends.

Siena was born March 31st at 3:21 p.m. she weighed 6 lbs 14 ozs and measured 18 inches long. Mom went through the entire delivery with no medication or complications. Mom is truly an amazing woman to say the least!!!! We are home from the hospital, sleep deprived and loving every second of it.
